One of the most iconic streets in the world, connecting a huge number of attractions and interesting places. There are, among others, numerous boutiques, smoke shops and clothes stores worth mentioning, like Victoria's Secret, Sephora, Urban Outfitters and Playmates of Hollywood. On top of that, you can visit countless souvenir shops and various eateries.
It was initially called Prospect Avenue until 1910, but after the annexation of Los Angeles it was changed to its current name. One of the reasons the Boulevard is thriving so much now is because of Charles E. Toberman (the "Father of Hollywood"), who saw it as a future theatre district. He himself opened 3 themed theatres near this area.
The street is never empty, you will find crowds of people there day and night; it is truly one of the liveliest places in Hollywood.
Bear in mind that the street is quite long, so wear comfortable shoes and you should also have some cash with you, as most of the food stands and bistros don't accept cards.
