Historic Fortifications and Monuments

This collection features significant archaeological remains and defensive structures across the Olympia region. Base of Nike of Paionios

Triangular marble pedestal located within the Sanctuary of Zeus, originally supporting the 5th-century BC statue of Nike. It was dedicated by the Messenians and Naupaktians following their victory over the Spartans.
