Two Nice Days in Nice

Spend two days exploring this charming Mediterranean town, its museums, monuments, parks, galleries and markets.

Your tour starts in one of the oldest public parks in Nice lined with tall palms and adorned with various fountains and statues - the Albert I Garden. As you continue to the Paillon Promenade, you will pass Massena Square, a spacious square bordered by red Italian-style palaces, palms, and pines. Next items on your itinerary are Palace of Justice Square, Sainte Réparate Cathedral, and Lascaris Palace. After you explore the old town, head to the Ponchettes Beach, and finish your day in a park called Castle Hill, the highest point in Nice and the best place for breath-taking panoramic views of the city.

On your next day, start with a bit of hiking. Visit the Mont Alban Fortress and Mont Boron to get some amazing views of the city as well as the Riviera. Then, continue to Marc Chagall National Museum dedicated to the work of painter Marc Chagall. After you explore the museum, head to Valrose Park to get away from the hustle of the town and finish your day in the picturesque Cimiez Monastery.
