Beijing’s spiritual landscape encompasses centuries of diverse religious traditions. This collection features the 14th-century Yonghe Lamasery, the city’s primary Tibetan Buddhist monastery, and the Niujie Mosque, dating back to the Liao Dynasty. Architectural highlights include the Ming-era Five Pagoda Temple with its Indian-style diamond throne and the White Cloud Temple, a central hub for Taoism.
