Liberecký kraj Essentials

Liberecký kraj features a diverse landscape ranging from the Jizera and Giant Mountains to the volcanic formations of the Bohemian Paradise. The region is defined by the futuristic Ještěd tower atop its highest peak and the twin basalt towers of Trosky Castle. Highlights include the preserved Gothic architecture of Bezděz, the massive Frýdlant castle complex, and the hexagonal basalt columns of Panská skála. The area also hosts the highest waterfall in the Czech Republic and specialized museums in Liberec.
