Dachstein Peaks & Glaciers
The Dachstein Mountains in central Austria feature a dramatic landscape of limestone peaks and retreating glaciers. This UNESCO World Heritage region is dominated by Hoher Dachstein, the second-highest mountain in the Northern Limestone Alps at 2,995 meters. A Hoher Dachstein

The Hallstätter Glacier is the largest glacier in the Dachstein Mountains.

The Große Bischofsmütze is the highest peak in the Gosaukamm range of the Dachstein Mountains, Austria.
H Taubenkogel
The Taubenkogel is a 2,301-metre high peak in the Dachstein Mountains of Upper Austria, northeast of the Hallstätter Glacier.
Scheichenspitze
A 2,667-meter summit in the southern Dachstein massif, home to the Ramsau via ferrata, one of the oldest climbing paths in the Alps.
Torstein
Standing at 2,948 meters, this is the second-highest peak in the Dachstein Mountains, forming the western anchor of the main triple-peak ridge.
Zinken
Also known as Ausseer Zinken, this 1,854-meter mountain provides panoramic views over the Bad Aussee region in the Styrian Salzkammergut.
Landfriedstein
A 2,536-meter limestone peak located in the southern part of the Dachstein massif, north of the plateau of Ramsau am Dachstein.
Mitterspitz
A 2,925-meter peak situated between Hoher Dachstein and Torstein, completing the range's prominent central trio.
