These essential mountain lodges and teahouses are situated along the Khumbu, Mera Peak, and Singalila trekking circuits. Ranging from basic shelters at 2,600 meters to high-altitude luxury lodges at 4,250 meters, they provide critical staging points for acclimatization and navigation through Sagarmatha National Park and the Indo-Nepal border ridges. Each location offers strategic access to major peaks including Everest, Lhotse, and Kanchenjunga.

Kongde

High-altitude luxury lodge situated at 4,250 meters. It offers panoramic views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam from the western ridge of the Khumbu Valley.

Phakding

Riverside settlement at 2,610 meters along the Dudh Koshi. It serves as the primary first-night stop for trekkers traveling from Lukla toward Everest Base Camp.

Monjo

Located at 2,835 meters, this village marks the official entrance to Sagarmatha National Park, where trekking permits are checked and processed.

Lukla Lodge

Accommodation located near Tenzing-Hillary Airport at 2,860 meters, serving as the primary staging point for expeditions entering the Khumbu region.

Kongde Peak Guest House

Chutanga Lodge
