Province 1 Essentials

Province 1, now known as Koshi Province, contains the world's highest concentration of 8,000-meter peaks, including Mount Everest, Kangchenjunga, Lhotse, and Makalu. The region is defined by the Khumbu Valley's trekking infrastructure, anchored by the high-altitude Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla. These essential mountain lodges and teahouses are situated along the Khumbu, Mera Peak, and Singalila trekking circuits.
