Kranj Essentials
Perched on a 30-meter high conglomerate rock above the Kokra River canyon, Kranj’s historical center showcases a blend of medieval and modern Slovenian culture. This selection highlights the city’s architectural evolution, from the 13th-century Castle Khislstein and Gothic Parish Church of St. Cantius to the monumental 20th-century stairs and arcades designed by Jože Plečnik.
