Loška Dolina is a karst valley defined by the well-preserved 13th-century Snežnik Castle and the subterranean lakes of Križna Cave, a site famous for cave bear skeletal remains. The region features the medieval ruins of Lož Castle and the Hallerstein manor in Koča vas. High-altitude landmarks include the alpine hut on Veliki Snežnik and the panoramic viewpoint of Križna gora. Natural karst phenomena are represented by the Golobina cave, an estavelle that marks the sinkhole of the Obrh stream.
