Nuuksio National Park essentials

Nuuksio National Park preserves a landscape of granite cliffs, old-growth forests, and over 80 lakes just outside Helsinki. The Finnish nature centre Haltia

An ecological exhibition center built from cross-laminated timber. It features interactive displays on Finnish biodiversity, gear rental services, and a restaurant overlooking Lake Pitkäjärvi.

Haukkalammen-Romvuoren luonnonsuojelualue

A protected area surrounding the park's primary trailhead. It is characterized by steep rock faces, rugged terrain, and access to the Romvuori lookout point.

Nuuksio Reindeer Park

Finland's southernmost reindeer park where visitors can feed lichen to the animals. The site includes a traditional Lappish hut (kota) for campfire coffee and snacks.

Holma-Saarijärvi
