Beaches and Coastal Escapes

This collection spans the diverse coastline of the Maremma, from the expansive sandy tombolos of Feniglia to the rugged, hidden coves of Monte Argentario. It features the unique quartz-sand beach of Cala Violina and the serviced resorts of Follonica and Porto Santo Stefano. Many of these locations are situated within protected nature reserves, offering a mix of wild, undeveloped stretches and fully equipped beach clubs with dining facilities.

Feniglia Beach

A six-kilometer sandy tombolo connecting Monte Argentario to the mainland. It is bordered by a pine forest nature reserve where fallow deer roam, accessible only by foot or bicycle.

Le Cannelle

A pebbly beach on the southern coast of Monte Argentario, overlooked by a 16th-century Spanish watchtower. The waters are part of the Pelagos Sanctuary for Mediterranean Marine Mammals.

A secluded rocky cove on the western side of Monte Argentario. It faces the islet of Argentarola and is reached via a steep paved path.

Cacciarella

A small, deep-water rocky cove on Monte Argentario. It is a snorkeling spot with a submerged bronze statue of Christ located in the nearby seabed.
