Yvoire's Medieval Charms

Perched on the southern shore of Lake Geneva, Yvoire is a fortified medieval village dating back to the early 14th century. Its strategic location led to the construction of defensive ramparts, two massive stone gates, and a prominent fortress built by Amadeus V of Savoy.
