This gigantic stadium can seat almost 75 000 spectators, which makes it the largest stadium for international football matches in Germany.
It was built in 1936 to host the Olympic Games, however, nowadays it serves a plethora of other purposes, too. Apart from the Olympics, it served as a venue for various UEFA and FIFA final matches, as well as concerts and music festivals.
If interested, you can join a guided tour of the facility and access areas that are not generally open to the public. The easiest way to get to the stadium is by the U-Bahn or S-Bahn.
