A complex of buildings built by Gaudí in the mid-1880s consisting of a stable, longeing ring and gatehouses. The land was owned by Eusebi Güell who had his summer residence here (later known as the Royal Palace) and who asked Gaudí to expand the estate.
Gaudí built a gatekeeper's house on the left side of the entrance and stables on the other side, now used as a library and a study center of Gaudí's works. The whole area now belongs to the University of Barcelona.
The pavilions are open and offer guided tours. If you miss the visiting hours, you can still admire the dragon gate from the outside.
