This 13th-century Gothic chapel is a true gem of Paris. Not only is it an imposing example of Gothic architecture but it is also a place of great value for the Christians. It used to house a large collection of crucial Christian relics (e.g. the Crown of Thorns) but those were later moved to Notre-Dame de Paris.
One of the most imposing features of the chapel are the 15 stained glass windows which tell tales from the Old and the New Testament.
Apart from being an important sight, the chapel is also a popular classical music concert venue. Before your visit, be sure to check whether some concerts will be held there.
