Helsingør’s spiritual history is anchored by the 16th-century St. Olaf's Cathedral and the exceptionally well-preserved Carmelite Priory, one of Scandinavia's finest examples of Gothic monastic architecture. Within the walls of Kronborg Castle, the royal chapel showcases original Renaissance interiors from 1582 that survived the great fire of 1629.
