Loreto's Natural Wonders

Loreto's protected areas safeguard some of the Amazon's most diverse ecosystems. The Pacaya Samiria National Reserve encompasses over 20,000 square kilometers of flooded forest, while the Güepí-Sekime National Park protects the Napo and Putumayo river basins along the Ecuadorian border. Amazon Nature Reserves

Loreto, Peru’s northernmost region, encompasses vast tracts of the Amazon rainforest and the headwaters of the Amazon River.
