Alpine Hut Escapes

This selection of high-altitude lodges across Tyrol provides essential mountain shelter and regional gastronomy. Situated in major massifs including the Venediger, Glockner, and Silvretta groups, these huts range from historic 19th-century stone structures to modern facilities equipped with Wi-Fi and digital payment systems. Many serve as primary bases for summits like the Großvenediger and Großglockner, offering traditional Tyrolean dishes and overnight accommodation between 2,100 and 2,650 meters above sea level.

Johannishütte
