Co warto zobaczyć w Taorminie

Historyczne centrum Taorminy charakteryzuje się średniowiecznymi fortyfikacjami, w tym kamiennymi bramami Porta Messina i Porta Catania z XIV wieku. Miasto posiada znaczące zabytki architektoniczne, takie jak Palazzo Corvaja i Palazzo Duchi di Santo Stefano, prezentujące sycylijską architekturę w stylu gotyckim. Na górze Tauro, nad miastem, zamek Saraceno i Sanktuarium Madonny della Rocca oferują widoki na wybrzeże, podczas gdy pobliska wioska Castelmola na wzgórzu zawiera ruiny normańskiej twierdzy. Wybrzeże poniżej jest dostępne kolejką linową, prowadzącą do rezerwatu przyrody Isola Bella.
