Full Day Sightseeing Tour of Prague

Start your trip at the Wenceslas Square, one of the most famous squares in Prague which has witnessed many important moments in the history of the Czech Republic. Stroll the square and head to the Old Town to visit the City Hall. If you are interested in history, you can explore the historical halls inside and access the Romanesque-Gothic underground which includes the Roman hall, dating back to the 12th century.

The wall of the City Hall features the Astronomical Clock, the oldest astronomical clock still in use in the world. This 600-year-old masterpiece is a must see. The figures beside the dial move on every hour, make sure not to miss it. The Old Town also boasts St. Nicholas Church - peek inside to see its delicate interior decorations.

Cross the Charles Bridge connecting the Old Town with Lesser Town. With its Baroque statues, it is perhaps the most famous sight in Prague. Next, take a look at the John Lennon-inspired political graffiti, which constantly changes. Walk through the Lesser Town and reach the hill with Saint Vitus Cathedral, the Prague Castle, and many other sights. Visit the cathedral and the seat of Czech rulers. Saint George’s Basilica is also worth the visit as it is located right next to Saint Vitus Cathedral.

Finish your trip by walking down the Golden Lane, which is part of the huge Prague Castle complex. These beautifully colored houses were once home to a number of important people, including Franz Kafka and Jaroslav Seifert, a Czech writer and Nobel Prize winner. Then, follow the Old Castle Stairs to enjoy spectacular views of Prague and the Fürstenberg Garden.
