The Best Barcelona Attractions

Enjoy your weekend and see the most important sights in this vibrant city. Start with wandering around the Montjuïc Park, peek into the National Art Museum of Catalonia if you're into art, and discover various parts of Spain in Poble Espanyol. Do not miss the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc and its light show in the evening. Next day, head to Park Güell. Enjoy the magnificent views of Barcelona and finish your visit with a picnic. Take a walk down to the city, pass Casa Vicens and House of Spikes and continue to Passeig de Gràcia where you can explore other architectural gems created by Gaudí. Finish your day in the Gothic Quarter.

Of course, a visit to Sagrada Familia is a must if you're in Barcelona. Afterwards, head to Park de la Ciutadella to see the monumental waterfall, pay a visit to the Church of Santa Maria del Mar and to the Museum of Catalan History, which traces the history of Catalonia from the middle ages to the present day. Your last evening in this great city calls for a walk on the beach - take off your shoes and walk in the sand from Barceloneta beach to Mar Bella beach. The beaches outside the city center are cleaner and not that crowded.
