Ohrid Municipality, a UNESCO World Heritage site, preserves centuries of history along the shores of one of Europe’s oldest lakes. Lakeside Beaches

Lake Ohrid’s shoreline features a mix of central town beaches and secluded coves. These spots range from the pebbly shores of Saraishte and Potpesh, located directly below the historic Old Town cliffs, to the expansive stretches near Lubanista and the Saint Naum Monastery. Many locations, such as Kaneo, provide direct views of Byzantine-style architecture, while others like Inex Gorica offer natural shade from surrounding pine forests. The water is exceptionally clear, typical of one of Europe's oldest and deepest tectonic lakes.
