Stubai Alps Peaks

The Stubai Alps feature prominent crystalline and limestone massifs spanning the border of North and South Tyrol. Stubai Alps Mountain Huts

The Stubai Alps feature a network of high-altitude mountain huts situated between 1,600 and 3,100 meters across the Austrian Tyrol and Italian South Tyrol. These Category I and II shelters, mostly managed by the German and Austrian Alpine Clubs, provide essential infrastructure for the Stubai High Trail. Many offer regional Tyrolean cuisine, dormitory and private room accommodations, and access to glaciers and peaks like the Zuckerhütl. Stubai Alps Glaciers

The Stubai Alps contain some of the Eastern Alps' most significant ice fields, spanning the high-altitude border between Austria and Italy. This collection features prominent glacial systems like the 6.2-square-kilometer Übeltalferner, the range's largest glacier, alongside the Sulztalferner and Sulzenauferner. Stubai Alps Viewpoints

Stubai Alps Cable Cars

This collection covers the extensive lift infrastructure of the Stubai Alps, including the high-capacity 3S Eisgratbahn at the Stubai Glacier and the Acherkogelbahn in the Ötz Valley. These lifts provide access to high-altitude terrains like Hochoetz, Axamer Lizum, and Schlick 2000. Many modern installations feature heated seats and weather protection bubbles, facilitating transport to peaks exceeding 3,000 meters and connecting remote alpine pastures with valley stations.
