Historical Gems

Skopje's architectural landscape spans centuries, from the 6th-century defensive walls of the Skopje Fortress to the sprawling 12th-century Old Bazaar, the largest Ottoman marketplace in the Balkans outside Istanbul. Religious heritage is showcased through the 15th-century Mustafa Pasha’s Mosque and the modern rotunda-style St. Clement of Ohrid cathedral. Mustafa Pasha's Mosque

Historic 15th-century Ottoman mosque featuring a 16.3-meter dome and a well-preserved original structure. Built in 1492, the site includes a tomb, a fountain, and a rose garden.

St. Clement of Ohrid
